Just had one of those serendipitous moments - while collecting my work from Ekka, having already signed the paperwork, a councillor happened to walk by, saw me packing the piece depicting historic Brett's Wharf in Brisbane, and asked to buy it on the spot.
Ekka Show 2025 summary: one artwork sold, one Commended certificate collected.

In this work, my challenge was to reconstruct a small black-and-white—actually, sepia—faded historic photo (see attached to the matboard in the lower right corner) into full colour.
